About Naad Foundation NAAD FOUNDATION is a registered and charitable organization dedicated to classical music, especially of Dhrupad style, at Aurangabad in Maharashtra State.

The foundation Imparts education and training in the domain of classical vocal music and is also associated with performance of traditional musical instruments. This foundation has devoted itself in imparting such education freely to economically weaker sections of the society. The institution is founded with two purposes, one to promote Dhrupad Music, which is the oldest and the purest form of Indian Classical music and second to increase the taste of classical music and to teach it in Auranabad region.

Members Today the art of Dhrupad has remained thriving through Guru-Shishya parampara, preserved by veteran musicians like Ustad Z.F. Dagar, the nineteenth generation of Dagar Gharana. The Chairman Shri Afzal Hussain of this foundation got training from Ustad Z.F .Dagar and is seeking to cultivate the same spirit of Dhrupad in to his students.
